This distiller makes very pure distilled water at a great price. It works well as a home distiller when used to make one or two gallons per day, allowing the unit to cool down between uses. For demanding applications requiring daily production of three or more gallons per day, we recommend that you look for a five gallon commercial model.

Performance may vary depending upon water temperature, electrical current, humidity, temperature and other factors. You do not have to clean the inside of the heating vessel after every use. Depending on the mineralization of the source water, you can make  5 to 10 or more gallons between cleanings. Once you have used up the supplied cleaner, cheap white vinegar works well. We have found that the Love 4 Distiller will last longer if you let it cool down between batches. When making colloidal silver using the distilled water from this unit, we get almost no buildup on the electrodes whereas store-bought distilled water always produces a large amount of unwanted residue. This demonstrates the high purity of the water produced by this system.

A few water distillers in this price range have a steel bottom. The Love Water Distiller has a stainless steel boiling chamber, which eliminates the number one problem with most low cost water distillers, of the plastic boiling chamber cracking after a year or so.
