New Flammability Requirements
If you intend to purchase a
mattress without a foundation, please consider the following information
before you make your purchase. (Feel free to call

As of July 1, 2007, all new mattresses or mattress sets offered for sale
in the U.S. must meet stringent flammability requirements.
Comfortaire mattresses
now meet those requirements.
However, if paired
with an old box spring or foundation, the two products together
may not offer the flammability
protection offered by the new flammability requirements. For this
reason, you should consider the purchase of a box spring, or foundation,
which has been tested with the mattress you have chosen,
or an approved cover for your existing foundation.
Make sure that the foundation or box spring meets the
new standards. That way you can be sure that your new purchase
allows you maximum flammability protection. If
you have a bed that does not require the use of a box spring or a
foundation (for example a platform bed or a futon frame), you need not
worry about the purchase of a mattress sold alone.
Check the labels to see that the products --
the mattress and the box spring or foundation-- may be safely mixed.
In the event that you choose to purchase a new mattress alone and
intend to use it with an older box spring or foundation
without approved covering, you may
forfeit important flammability protection. In that event, neither the
manufacturer nor the retailer of the mattress can be held liable for any
damages that may result.

RETURN POLICY:
Try the Comfortaire bed for up to 90 days. If for any reason
you do not want to keep your mattress, call or email us for a return
authorization. Returned mattresses must be clean, odor-free,
and shipped in the original box(es) or we
will reduce the amount of refund accordingly. Once
we receive your mattress in acceptable condition, we will
refund 100% of the amount you paid Elixa. You must pay the

Mattress features:

The 1.5 density, anatomical, zoned, hospital grade,
anti-bacterial topper foam is a unique feature of our mattress, supplying unique support
to key zones. We recommend the visco memory foam upgrade for the
ultimate in support.

Our friction-fitted, wrapped sidewall foam is constructed of
1.6 density polyurethane for increased durability.
-
The latex-cotton air chambers, constructed of durable duck
cloth and rubber are molecularly bonded for exceptional pressure retention. Other
manufacturers use vinyl which does not last as long, hold pressure as well, or provide as
much support. Vinyl also outgasses and produces odors which may irritate many people.
The newly redesigned air control unit inflates at .5 psi,
quickly adjusting firmness. It also features thermal protection and external fusing for
increased operating safety.
*Comfortaire® makes 3 different pumps:
The standard AC3200 pump sounds like a
hair dryer but you should only have to use it for a few seconds and then
only once a week or less.
The new IFC2001 "Quiet" pump
has UL listing, makes less noise, has the "Instant Inflate" feature
(not really instant, just a way to fully inflate automatically), and a filter that keeps the
valves clean.
The
Whisperflo pump, only available with the Celenia®, has a low noise
level and has a digital readout on the controls and lets you return
to your preferred setting. While having some value, we don't
believe the digital feature makes a $300 difference!
We recommend that you purchase
the Cerenity®
with Visco memory foam upgrade. Unless you truly need a taller
mattress and love pillow tops, the
Cerenity® offers the
best value.
Do I
need a special foundation or will my present box spring work?
Any straight foundation, box spring,
platform, floor, etc. will work as long as the sizes match. We

Bronze
(approx.

The basic system for ultimate support with no frills. 68% cotton cover
with firm quilting pattern. 1.6 density perimeter foam. 24 gauge
6" thick latex/cotton air chambers. Standard AC3200 pump.
We recommend upgrading to the visco memory foam.
CERENITY® Silver Classic
(approx. 9" tall)
The basic system for ultimate support with no frills. 78% cotton cover
with semi-firm quilting.
1.6 density perimeter foam, convoluted
foam, 24 gauge 6" thick latex/cotton air chambers.
We sleep on
this version with the visco memory foam upgrade
and prefer it over more expensive models by any manufacturer!
Now available with the standard AC3200 pump or
the new IFC2001 Quiet pump (the Q
version). The new pump does not have a digital readout like the Whisperflo®
Celenia® pump, but it does have all the other advantages such as: UL
listed, improved air flow and retention, replaceable power cord, instant
firmness control, air filter protects valves.

CERULEAN® PillowTop (approx. 11" tall)
With 2" of support foam under the 24 gauge 6"
thick latex/cotton air chambers, and
8" sidewall
foam with an additional 2" layer of dacron
pillowtop. In addition, the gold HP cover uses Belgium damask rayon fabric
with tack and jump quilting for an even more luxurious feel. Choose
the Cerulean if you like a thick pillowtop and/or you have a frame
with sides over 9-10" or need tall furniture.

The CELENIA® PillowTop (approx. 11" tall), our most
luxurious model, features the Whisperflo® quiet pump with digital control (lets you return to your
preferred comfort setting automatically) and includes a layer of
visco memory foam
(convoluted, 4 lb. density).
You want a Celenia® if you have to have the top of
the line with all the bells and whistles, height, luxurious exterior, and
like to feel like a Godiva chocolate served up on a silk pillow. (NOTE:
The digital pump and control units account for the difference in price
between the Celenia®
and Cerulean®.)
The CELESTA®
"European" BoxTop, Comfortaire's 14" high-profile model introduces the
boxtop concept to adjustable firmness air mattresses. Featuring a 3"
air bladder with a layer of Visco Memory Foam that sit on a base of
6" Omalon foam, with a choice of Quiet or Whisperflo pumps, this
system takes the air/foam combination to new heights!
Waterbed
Replacement Sleep Systems:
Measure the length and width
of your frame and choose the appropriate size above. If the sides are
10" tall or
more, we suggest the Cerulean or Celenia, but
you can also order 3" foam risers ($90 for a Queen or $105 for a King).

A foundation/box spring cover in a matching Damask slipcover designed for
use on existing box springs or foundations is available to easily create a matching set. |
