Mattress sizes

Mattresses are about 8" tall (Classic) and about 11" (Pillow top) The waterbed replacements have additional foam at the bottom to make a total height of about 12".
The Classic series has slightly less cotton (60% vs 68%) and less padding in the cover top.
The Pillow Top models come with a quieter pump than the Classic Bronze. Since you do not have to run the pump often, it shouldn't matter. In terms of pump life, you use them so seldom that they should last a very long time.

A foundation cover in a matching Damask slipcover designed for use in existing box springs or foundations is available to easily create a matching set.

NOTE: Prices do not include a foundation. Any straight foundation, box spring, platform, floor, etc. will work as long as the sizes match. We can provide an excellent collapsible foam foundation, but it can cost $300 plus S&H! We recommend buying a foundation locally.

Classic & Pillowtop Mattress Kits include the following components:

  • The Pillow top series has a high quality loomstate damask cover featuring 68% cotton composition, giving the mattress a luxurious look and feel.
  • Our Classic Bronze series mattress has 60% cotton, and with it's reduced quilting gives a firmer feel.
  • The 1.5 density, anatomical, zoned, topper foam is a unique feature of our mattress, supplying unique support to key zones.
  • Our fabric-wrapped sidewall foam is constructed of 1.6 density polyurethane for increased durability.
  • The latex-cotton air chambers, constructed of durable duck cloth and rubber are molecularly bonded for exceptional pressure retention.
  • The newly redesigned air control unit inflates at .5 psi, quickly adjusting firmness. It also features thermal protection and external fusing for increased operating safety.
